No, because not everything should be published for the public to see. Especially if young children or people who are sensitive can be exposed to it.

Yes, I think that there should be an independent body of citizens who proof read all press articles before they are published. Things that should be protected are people dignity, I've personally seen loads of articles that have made someone look a certain way when its clear that they weren't like that. Also, pictures of bodies should be published for example the beach shooting in Tunisia or the picture of the boy who drowned.
