"A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 dystopian crime film adapted, produced, and directed by Stanley Kurbick based on Anthony Burgess' 1962 novella A Clockwork Orange. It employs disturbing, violent images to comment on psychiatry, juvenile delinquency youth gangs, and other social, political, and economic subjects in a dystopian near-future Britain."
A Clockwork Orange is so controversial because of how the main character acts. He falls in love with violence and rape and likes to cause mayhem whenever he can. The main character is then sent to a rehabilitation centre were the cure is worse than the disease. This film is extremely graphic but however, films today such as 'Saw' and 'The Human Centrepide' make this film look more tame,

The Human Centipede (First Sequence) is a 2009 Dutch film written, directed, and co-produced by Tom Six. The film tells the story of a German surgeon who kidnaps three tourists and joins them surgically, mouth to anus, forming a "human centipede".
The BBFC noted that while the film's predecessor The Human Centipede I (First Sequence) was "undoubtedly tasteless and disgusting", it was also "a relatively traditional and conventional horror film" and passed it uncut with an 18 certificate.
"The Board considered whether its concerns could be dealt with through cuts," he continued. "However, given that the unacceptable content runs throughout the work, cuts are not a viable option in this case and the work is therefore refused a classification."

Dolce and Gabbana Magazine Advert
This advert was banned because of many codes that it may have broke. The first one being that is suggests 'gang rape' and that it is ok. The man is holding down the woman and she looks like she is struggling to get up. Secondly, it could also be argued it is giving men a bad name whilst making woman seem unequal compared to them.
